Availability, prices and booking

We have three great condo/apartments at Vista Cay. Please use the menu on the top to read more.

Our seasonal adjusted prices are as follows :

  • All prices in USD. No extra resort fee. Free parking. No credit card fee
  • For longer rentals, please ask for an offer
  • Weekly rate is for 7 nights
  • Please ask for less than 5 nights reservations. Owner might require guest to be flexible on unit if accepted
  • All prices are plus 12,5 % Lodging and Sales Tax. No tax on booking fee/departure clean
  • No extra 'Damage' deposit must be paid.
  • $ 250 US$ deposit, minimum 10 %, due 3 days after booking.
  • The remaining amount is due 30 days before check-in.
  • Delayed checkout possible free of charge, if our apartment is vacant after your stay. This is finally decided 3 days before checkout.
  • Do you want more time in Orlando? Extension of rental period possible at 25 % discount, if the apartment is vacant. Can be booked 7 days before departure.

Homeaway / vrbo bookings :

Most of our guests uses homeaway.com's online booking to rent our condo. Or one of their sister sites, as vrbo.com, homeaway.co.uk etc. As part of the booking procedure, you will then settle the 10 %, minimum US$ 250 deposit / first payment to owner. As well as homeaway's close to 10 % service fee and 12.5 % local tax collected by homeaway. The remainder balance is due 30 days before checkin.

After booking, we the owners will make the reservation in the booking system with our on-site partner. And send you our standard booking confirmation, including checkin instructions etc.

Direct bookings :

Many guests have found our website by searching, or you are perhaps a returning guest. We can also rent our condo "directly", avoiding the close to 10 % service fee to homeaway. The procedure is then slightly different :

  • Usually, the guest sends an inquiry for the desired date (alternatives). We will then answer if vacant/occupied, give a Grand Total offer, and answer any other questions.
  • The guest confirms the booking by e-mail. Preferable with preferred payment method and cell phone number. We the owners will reserve the apartment in our on-site partners booking system. We will also make the reservation at homeaway.com, so that others can't online book our condo.
  • A 250 US$ deposit, minimum 10 %, is due three days after the booking is placed. The remaining amount is due 30 days before check-in. (This partly so that you can arrange air tickets, possible rentals for other part of your vacation etc.
  • The remainder balance is due 30 days before checkin. This includes also the 12.5 % local tax.
  • That's it. No contract to complete, and no extra "damage deposit" to be paid. (See FAQ / Terms). (Rental contract will be issued if the guest wants one. For us the owners, it's enough that the deposit is settled.)

Payment methods :

  • Online through homeaway.com / vrbo.com. This is only payment method for online bookings through homeaway/vrbo. It's optional for direct bookings, but will then add the close to 10 % service fee.
  • PayPal. PayPal is a very secure payment method, you do not have to give your credit card number to us the owners. PayPal is widely trusted and is owned by the famous Internet auction site eBay. You can read more about PayPal on Wikipedia here.
  • Credit card over the phone to our on-site partner Millenium Management.
